This piece of pencil sketch art is a life drawing that is actually one of a set of two works of art completed at about the same time. Both works explore the fact of loneliness, however this is the only one appearing in the online artwork gallery. The other work was sold to a private owner in Panama City (Florida), many years ago :) That work also had a very thick white mat (symbolizing isolation) around another simple pencil sketch art depicting loneliness. The sister work shows a woman alone. This pencil sketch art (below) shows two people, but the woman is actually solitaire whatever her physical circumstance. This is a close-up view of an original piece of modern realistic art based on a penciled in, life drawing sort of moment. This is one of the few rare, raw works that is bereft of any surreal or fantasy art reference.
