Surreal art picts: pen & ink art: mermaids
Mermaids are old symbols (with a deep hold on the human imagination) and have always been favorite symbols of mine. Check out the online art galleries for pen & ink art, pencil sketches, paintings and surreal art picts of mermaids (fairies, etc.). Some works are more surreal than others, especially artwork created after 1995. This is actually one of the transitional works (from fantasy artwork to very surreal art setting).
