SURREAL
PIC -- PEN & INK
A brand new surreal pen & ink drawing (2006), the second major work of art for the year. The thought of this drawing haunted me enough that I put together the pieces and then I imploded and put it away...for years. Now it's done. A certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist,
is included with purchase.

TITLE:
"Infinity & Jelly Donuts" © Chris Eisenbraun
2006.
ARTIST'S
NOTES:
I stopped drawing for a couple of years (1997). This was one of the last pieces of art that I staked out prior to implosion. I had actually started penciling the drawing, but everything stopped cold in 1997. Well..., I have picked up the pen once again and this piece is finally done <sheesh>. Everything, from now on, is NEW.
The title for this work of art actually comes from a Magnum episode (a two-part episode, initially slated as the series ending). I liked the words and the concept behind the words :) BUT..., it really needs to be said that the artwork was well underway before the name came along (a.k.a.: the title is an auxiliary symbol to the piece, NOT the inspiration <g>). hehehehe. The title usually comes around towards the end of the work.
During part I (of the two-part episode), there is a quote along the lines of: "Time has little to do with infinity or jelly donuts." That's ONE of the many reasons I like this as a title. It's flexible to many meanings, lotsa nuance :)
