SYMBOLISTIC
ART -- ARTIST SKETCHBOOK
This work of symbolistic art
was created during the dry spell (1998-2003), which makes
it a rare piece indeed. Torn directly from the artist sketchbook,
this small pen & ink symbolistic art sketch stands in
for an entire year (2001). Hopefully it heralds the start
of "The Prolific YEARS" <g>. A certificate
of authenticity, signed by the artist, is included with purchase.

ARTIST
NOTES:
This is the ONLY piece --painting, drawing, etc.-- completed
between 1997 and 2002 (so far in 2003 a video rack and numerous
web projects are the only completed creations). It is also
the last piece to bear the name "Riley." So this
little symbolistic art doodle has the potential to be a sweet
investment (if my art ever really takes off <lol>).
What can I say? Eric Clapton mentions actually turning to
his art for release AFTER he got off the drugs and booze.
I can REALLY understand that. It's so incredibly stupid that
an artist can so loose touch with their art that they turn
to ANYTHING but it for release <jeez>. Well, let me
finish building this online gallery up and then we'll see
what happens :) Hopefully the artist sketchbook will be overflowing
soon enough :)
This is what I would call a therapeutic doodle. A silly little
sketch, but it is the first time I have actually picked up
the pen and created something original in too many years.
A first step, hopefully, with many more to follow :)
