RESULTS:
This public golf course website
has grown and expanded quite a lot to meet the changing
needs of the client. Originally a brochure type website
design it is gradually becoming more interactive. In
addition to the website the client also sends an email
newsletter (with coupons) directly to member's desktops!
One commission included a small search engine optimization
of the homepage for the keywords "golf" and
"Zephyrhills." The basic (free) search engine
optimization had gotten the website listed in the search
engines but the new efforts were a little more concentrated
and moved the homepage up in the rankings! Results (July
15, 2004): MSN, from #21 to #2; All the Web, from #22
to #2; Alta Vista, from #27 to #2; Yahoo, from #30 to
#2; and Google the listing had moved up more than 70
spots to #71. This was an a la carte simple and inexpensive
optimization of one page, on words suggested by the
client. More intensive and extensive optimizations are
also available :)
